Continuum

It's nearly 1 week after the release date of Continuum and I still do not have the CD in my hands. Why? Apparently pre-ordering merchandise means nothing to the post man who is supposed to deliver the merchandise, or the neighbor who may accidently keep your mail. Who knows where my package of John Mayer goodies ended up, probably in some abyss of junk mail in someone else's apartment. I have contacted the merchandise department and am awaiting a response. I shall give them 1 day and then I shall call with a vengence =).

**A "regular" version of the CD is being shipped UPS to my apartment. Apparently the "exclusive CD" and rest of the package are no longer available. Omg...I shall think twice about preordering again if I have to put up with this drama each time! Plus, it pains me that I could have paid $14.99 or less for a CD that is now costing me $24.99!! Bleh on Musictoday.

Books, books, books

I shall attempt to record my literary endeavors as of late...since I actually have been reading this year! All due to joining a book club I suppose =).

Since July:
Interview with a Vampire - Anne Rice [vampires? Much more interesting that I originally anticipated. So much of the human struggle is evidenced.]

Eragon - Christopher Paolini [a cross between Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter =). This is one of the most exciting and compelling books I've read in a long time.]

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Pt. 1) - Douglas Adams [Weird, weird, weird. I kept turning the page saying, "what??"]

Lullaby - Chuck Palahniuk [Social issues, human, and raw. This guy is crazy =)]

True Believer - Nicolas Sparks [romance...just makes you say *ahhh*]

Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold [the topic is difficult to stomach, but worth the read]

My goal: 4 more books by the end of the year...can I do it? I shall try =)
